Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of fancapleague.com (the “Service”), operated by Christos Ktistis, an individual. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. What Fancap is

Fancap is a free, skill-based football prediction game covering the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1. Users predict match outcomes before kickoff and earn points based on the difficulty of their prediction. Fancap does not currently involve any wagering, betting, or real-money prizes — it is provided for entertainment purposes only.

If this changes in the future, these terms will be updated, and any new prize or paid features will be governed by separate, clearly disclosed terms at that time.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 12 years old to create an account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage (for example, to manipulate leaderboards or tier promotion) is not allowed.
• You’re responsible for all activity on your account.

3. How the game works

Full game mechanics — points, tiers, promotion and relegation, the favorite-team mini-league, and the friends feature — are described within the Service itself. We may adjust game mechanics, scoring, or features at any time to improve the product; we’ll aim to communicate meaningful changes clearly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, or interfere with the fair operation of the game
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Harass, impersonate, or abuse other users, including through the friends feature
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Content you provide

You retain ownership of any content you provide (such as your username or profile picture), but you grant Fancap a license to display it within the Service — for example, on leaderboards and public profiles — as described in our Privacy Policy.

Profile pictures must not be offensive, infringe on anyone else’s rights, or violate applicable law. We may remove content that violates this.

6. Intellectual property

The Fancap name, branding, and the Service’s design and software belong to us. Team and league names referenced in the Service are used descriptively to identify real football fixtures and are the property of their respective owners; Fancap is not affiliated with or endorsed by any football club, league, or governing body.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Match data and odds are sourced from third-party providers, and while we aim for accuracy, we don’t guarantee it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fancap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Since the Service is currently free and involves no real-money stakes, our liability in connection with it is limited accordingly.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of EU - Cyprus.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
